Berlin, February 6, 2024:
Against the backdrop of the attacks of October 7, and the massacre of Israeli civilians by Hamas, a screening of the Israeli film 'The Boy' took place in cooperation with the Future Forum, the German-Israeli Association Berlin-Brandenburg e.V., the Jewish National Fund Germany (KKL) and the Jewish Community of Berlin. The screening was held in memory of the film's screenwriter and director, Yahav Winner, who was murdered during the attacks in Kfar Azza, on October 7. 'The Boy' was Yahav Winner's last film and tells the story of the lives of a father and son in Kibbutz Kfar Azza on the edge of the Gaza Strip. Dr Ruth Eitan, Chief Delegate of the KKL in Jerusalem and former board member of the Future Forum, introduced the film.
