First German-Israeli Matchmaker Seminar

The first twenty Matchmakers of the German-Israeli Future Network were qualified in a one-day seminar that took place in Berlin in mid-June 2019.

The group was selected out of many great applications that we received, and consisted of Israelis and Germans from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.

Our Matchmakers function as mentors and multipliers in the German-Israeli Future Network and what they have in common is first and foremost the knowledge and willingness to help others make fruitful connections in both countries.

Apart from giving the Matchmakers a chance to get to know each other, the seminar examined different relevant themes: What makes an effective partnership? How to overcome cultural biases? What are the best practices of approaching foundations? How to get attention in the age of social media? Moreover, the Matchmakers were informed about the tools and benefits that we offer in order to support their activities.

In only one day, the group managed to come together as a creative force full of team spirit and ideas, and we look forward to collaborating with each new Matchmaker!

Need advice on how a specific field in Germany or Israel works, or which organization could be a good fit to cooperate with? Join our Network, check out our Matchmakers’ ”Superpowers” and connect with those who perfectly meet your needs.

Want to become a Matchmaker yourself? The next Matchmaker Seminar will take place in November 2019 in Tel Aviv. A call for applications for it will be published here at the beginning of September. Sign up for our newsletter if you want to stay updated.
