(In the context of our network program G17 for Resilience)
Matchmaker Sönke Kirchhof led a collaboration between the Tarbut Movement, which is committed to developing social resilience in Israel’s periphery, and INVR.SPACE from Germany, which specializes in virtual reality technologies. The initiative explored the possibilities of creating a “digital twin” of the Yama Gallery in Nahariya, which promotes dialogue with the local community, enabling the gallery to also operate in Germany and to strengthen German–Israeli relations through art and technology. The initiative was originally planned for 2024 but due to the war it took place in November 2025.
