Matchmaker Weekend: Re-Unite, Re-Search, Re-Vision (2022)

In May 2018, we launched our Future Network in Kibbutz Shefayim and began a long-term process with the aim of expanding the circles of those who are actively shaping Germany-Israel relations. In September 2022 – four years and one pandemic – we went back to this magical place, this time for a weekend with a fantastic group of our qualified Matchmakers, to do some face-to-face networking and plan together the Network’s next adventures.

The weekend exceeded all our expectations. The program included fascinating workshops and talks given by the Matchmakers themselves according to their expertise and interests in the fields of Innovation & Technology, Politics & Society, Arts & Culture and Education.

There was also plenty of quality time for networking – both organized in the form of facilitated workshops and in other fun spontaneous ways.

The weekend peaked around workshops in which the group envisioned together the future of our Network and developed great ideas on how to strengthen and diversify it. We plan to implement some of these ideas in 2023.
