In the context of our network program G17 for pluralism, which was conducted in close collaboration with our matchmakers, Matchmaker Lidia Averbukh brought together Homemade dance & Theater from Israel and Junges Theater Augsburg from Bavaria.
The participants of the study trip in June 2023 found that they share a deep concern about the resilience of democracy in their countries and around the world. Furthermore, they share the determination to address this concern through theatrical work aimed at imparting democratic values to young audiences.
It became evident early on that both sides view the meeting as the beginning of a long-term collaboration.
