Violence against women has certain characteristics, patterns, and mechanisms. It includes economic, physical, sexual, and psychological methods and affects women from all walks of life throughout the world. This Future Lab is about dealing with the abuse of women from the perspective of aid organizations and societies in Israel and Germany. The project partners address the phenomenon of societal and gender abuse of women from a pedagogical and practical perspective and learn about best practices from both countries. For a better understanding of the legal situation as well as the support systems in both societies, the participating professionals visit various institutions and hold discussions.

Project Goals
The goal of this German-Israeli learning experience is to find out what non-profit and government programs are offered in each country, what is missing, and how to learn from each other. The goal of a project that could be developed from the Future Lab would be to create a learning module and a guide to the various programs in Israel and Germany that are offered in the fight against the abuse of women in both countries, including prevention, awareness, and help for those affected.
