The Foundation’s highest authority is the Board of Trustees. Our commitment to bilateral work is also evident in the Board’s composition, with each participating government appointing six members.
Our Board members:
Brigitte Zypries studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and graduated with the second state law examination. She is Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the European Leadership Network Deutschland e. V. (ELNET) and Ombudswoman of the Federal Association of German Debt Collection Companies (BDIU). She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the German National Foundation.

Thematically, Tobias Lindner and works primarily on security policy issues and advocates the further development of the rules-based international order, the strengthening of the United Nations and a feminist foreign policy. He promotes a strong role for Germany in civil crisis prevention, humanitarian aid and peace mediation. Tobias Lindner and also works on structural issues such as digitalization, gender equality, diversity and budgetary issues. diversity and budgetary issues.
Dr. Tobias Lindner has been a member of the German Bundestag for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party since 2011.

He is a distinguished diplomat, and in his three decades with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served, among others, as Israel's 16th Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as Spokesman of the Israeli Embassies in London and Bonn.
As a writer and columnist, his opinion articles have appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Times, and more.
